wedding: lenita + dale

Bill Allen - Many great works of art are created by couples. In film, there exists Andy & Larry (Wachowski), directors of Bound, THe Matrix (I, II, III) and Speed Racer; Albert & Allen (Hughes), directors of Dead Presidents and From Hell; Ethan and Joel (Coen), directors of Raising Arizona, Fargo and No Country for Old Men. In wedding photography, this past weekend, I witnessed first hand the talents of another creative couple — Lewis and Kenya (photographer and stylist). He commands the cameras while she commands (in a delicate yet authoritative voice) the crowds, the result — effortless staging of standard, imaginative, unique and what are sure to be memorable photos of the bride, groom, wedding party, et al. But most of all know that Lewis is a creative soloist, stealthy moving about and always in the right place to grab an unbelievable shot (as evidenced by the candid photo of Dale wiping away tears). The “preview photos” are wonderful. I cannot wait to see the entire album.
