Meet Jennifer and Bert. A teacher and a engineer, looking forward to January when they are to be married. Because of their shared love for one another and the outdoors, we headed to the Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science for the engagement session. Last night I won the “open” category for print of the month competition at the Tallahassee Professional Photographers Guild (TPPG) Meeting. Though I love capturing the emotions between couples, I also love nature photography. Wish I had more hours in the day to do it all.

Brandy met Charles while they were both working at a local sporting goods store here in Tallahassee. Three years later this pair is preparing for their may wedding. For the engagement session we returned to the train station area and had wonderful time. Enjoy a few of my favorites and the slideshow.

On Saturday Belinda and Alan (engagement) completed my triple-header of 3 weddings in 7 days. The couple had a lovely ceremony in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church followed by a wonderful reception at the FSU alumni club. So much fun was had that even Grandpa got up to cut the rug with his favorite girl. Belinda and Alan are off on their honeymoon to Jamaica. Enjoy a few pictures and the slideshow from the wedding.

Next up on Sunday: Here’s the story of a lovely lady, who was bringing up three very lovely dogs. Here’s also the story, of a man named Bill, who was busy with three dogs of his own. They were four, living all together, yet they were all alone. Till the one day when the lady met this fellow, and they knew that it was much more than a hunch. That this group would somehow form a family. That’s the way they all became the Jacobus Bunch.

What a weekend! I have completed my first wedding doubleheader. First up, on Saturday I traveled to historic St. Augustine, FL to photograph the wedding of Edena & Keir. This couple met in high school and finally decided to make it official. They had a very intimate ceremony at the Lightner Museum followed by a reception at Maggiano’s restaurant. Their beautiful daughters, family and friends were present to witness this special day.
