e-session: damonica + tommy

Tommy loves Damonica. Tommy also loves his bike (just not as much as his future wife). Luckily, Damonica allowed the “other woman” to be part of their engagement shoot. The two plan to wed in November. For the engagment session we spent a rainy sunday afternoon at the Tallahassee train station. Enjoy.

e-session: china + chris ( & kylee)

“Can I buy you a drink?” Such a classic line, but does it really work? In the case of China and Chris it did. This pair met in a bar, one day after work and have been inseparable ever since. They plan to be married in February. For their engagement session we went down to the St. Marks National Wildlife Reserve. Please enjoy.

I’m back . . .

Well, today ends my ‘mini’ shooting hiatus. About a month ago I had some shoulder surgery and I gave myself the month to recover. The doctor says I can play golf now, which is incredible since I could not play it before the surgery :) . So, what has been happening over the last month of no shooting?

  • The Golden Eagle Wedding and Reception show was a tremendous success. I want to welcome all my new clients. It was a wonderful event and I enjoyed meeting and signing many new brides (and grooms). One of my new couples even won the honeymoon!
  • I have had plenty of time to think of some new locations for engagement shoots around Tallahassee. Hopefully, new locations I have in mind will provide more memorable backgrounds and mood settings for you.
  • I’m officially an Award Winning photographer now :) . I entered a few prints for the first time in the annual print competition of the Tallahassee Professional Photographer Guild. The print below from Thandi and Joshua’s Engagement session scored a “Award of Excellence” aka Honorable Mention. Happy Anniversary also to Thandi and Josh who will celebrate 1 year of marriage next Monday.
  • As of July 1st, we have raised our pricing some. We will honor all outstanding pricing information given to potential clients in May and June until July 31st.
  • Lewis Johnson Photography and Lewis Johnson are now on Facebook. I have decided to give this social networking stuff a try. If you are a member please become a “Fan” or a “Friend” and spread the word.
